What I’ve been up to in May

May was an interesting month. My younger son turned 4.  A ton of last minute spring cleaning around the house.  A few impromptu small family/friends meet-ups we haven’t done for more than a year, and now adults are all vaccinated…  all while I continue the best effort to stay on my creative schedule. 🙂 Here are the things that kept me busy this past month, aside from the day-to-day ‘job’ related stuff…

Creating and hacking stuffs

  • Game development – I spent some time refining the design doc and then jumped right into creating mocks and game assets.  Below is a gameplay mock and a special attack.  Next month I should be getting into actual coding (or ‘non-coding’ )
“Hey, my coin!” “We found it first!”
“summoning… savage attack!”  This work was also entered into the May monthly challenge of the Discord community ‘Pixel World’.  I made it to 4th place…  Not bad for a first timer?  :p
  • Drawing: I continue to develop my skill and style

  • Merch Store: I’ve added some new merch from arts to my store, check it out!
a die cut sticker for $8.99 (US)
A nice cup for $13.99 (US)
A indoor pillow for $24.99
  • Writing: Same as last month, nothing much to share, as I continued to slowly develop a story, while maintaining my blog and Medium publication
  • etc: I also set up a few Chia plots and started farming on a Raspberry Pi 4 64bit box.  Thanks for introducing this interesting crypto currency to me, @Marcos! 😉

If you really finished reading the above, I thank you, and wish that my sharing would either entertain you, or inspire you (if you’ve been thinking about your own creative projects). Until next month!
