What I’ve been up to in March

March came and went! Here are the things that kept me busy this past month, aside from the day-to-day ‘job’ related stuff…

Learning Stuffs

  1. Pixel Arts Course – This month I wrapped up the RPG-view chapter from last month, as well as finishing the isometric-view chapter! I will be done with the course in early April… (yay!)
  2. Investment course – progressing to learn about the construct of the financial systems. The type of markets and trades, how things are executed and regulated. Also dug into the world of security index. I will also be done with this course in early April!

Creating and hacking stuffs

  1. Writing: this month I reflected on my writing goal and made a change to the weekly newsletter.  Otherwise, I continue my regular publishing schedule.
  2. Drawing: I continue to develop my skill and style!

Consuming stuffs

  1. Reading
    1. Read Wired special issue, an excerpt of the book ‘2034: A Novel of the Next World War
    2. Read One Story #268 ~ #272
    3. Finally finished reading Peter Lynch’s ‘Beat the Street‘ (I read it on and off on Libby app)
    4. Reading ‘Five Love Languages for Teenagers‘ (in Chinese simplified)
  2. Gaming:
    1. Finally beat ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider‘ (love it!)
    2. Starting ‘Red Dead Redemption 2‘ and Bastion
    3. Quit 2 games:
      1. Got frustrated by the ‘Star Wars Battlefront 2’ single player’s FPS, gave up.
      2. Got frustrated by ‘Blasphemous’… and paused it :p
  3. TV: Watched ‘WandaVision‘ season 1

If you really finished reading the above, I thank you, and wish that my sharing would either entertain you, or inspire you (if you’ve been thinking about your own creative projects). Until month!
