Welcome to another monthly update! This is a column I’m keeping exclusively on my site (instead of going to my Medium publication or other platforms). So without further ado, here are the things that kept me busy this past month, aside from the day-to-day ‘job’ related stuff…
Learning Stuffs
- Pixel Art Course – I am getting into the ‘advanced’ segment of the course. The end is near! yet, it means more challenging works. I have been working on a ‘RPG view’ mock, starting with animated character spritesheet:
- Investment course: progressing to the world of equity market! Learning all the various practices in the investing world such as short, long position, hedging, call/put options, forwards, future, arbitrage. I am pretty sure that my brain won’t remember all that, so taking a lot of notes 😀
Creating and hacking stuffs
- Drawing – New channels! I’ve created a Youtube channel and exporting all the Twitch videos there. Same content also gets to TikTok. I’ve also been experimenting with chinese’s traditional ink style drawing (水墨), which I personally love yet hadn’t practice much before:

Consuming stuffs
- Reading: I finsihed ‘The Wicked Will Rise“, book 2 in the series and also a business book ‘The Savy Solopreneur’s Guide to Outsourcing‘
- Gaming: Continue Rise of The Tomb Raider reached 83%.
- Started playing Star Wars Battlefront 2’s single player mode … such a pretty game!
- picked up a new gem that I’ve been enjoying: Blasphemous
